📌 ERP Quest Update: Super User Training Underway
The next chapter of ERP Quest is underway as the Super Users enter the training grounds. From September 28 through October 9, this group will receive hands-on training in the final IFS solution, learning the tools and processes that will help guide Merrell Bros. into the next stage of the journey.
Once trained, these heroes will help test the solution, prepare teams, and support the road toward go-live. Their mission is simple but mighty: Train. Test. Prepare. Go Live. Each step brings us closer to a stronger, smarter, and more connected Merrell Bros.

🏆 Winner: Ryne Birnell
Some of the most important work at a power plant happens in places most people will never see.
This week’s Employee Photo Contest winner, Ryne Birnell, captured the view at the Omnis Pleasants Power Plant in West Virginia, while honorable mention Nick Cooper gave us a look at what’s happening on the ground.
Our crew is there for a clarifier cleanout, using two belt presses and specialized equipment to remove and dewater accumulated material so the system can get back to doing what it was designed to do.
It isn’t glamorous work, but it’s necessary work. Keeping critical infrastructure operating means occasionally getting to the bottom of things, quite literally.

🏆 Honorable Mention: Blake Hughes
Sometimes the best view on the job is the one you get when the equipment finally stops long enough to look up.
The second of this week’s honorable mentions comes from Blake Hughes in Colebrook, New Hampshire, where the Merrell Bros. crew is removing accumulated biosolids from a lagoon and dewatering the material with a mobile belt filter press.
It’s a roughly 50-day project, with the operation capable of producing up to 40 tons of dewatered cake per workday. That means less accumulated material in the lagoon, restored capacity, and a system better prepared to keep doing its job.
Necessary work in a pretty spectacular corner of the country.
